In Loving Memory of
Stewart Ian Reed
March 20, 1989 - January 17, 2009

For years, the riverbank was where
Your soul felt most at peace
Your heart was most content when there
With the fish and the geese
But then, your spirit came to rest
Where angels chose to roam
And once equipped with ten pound test
You made yourself at home.

The sky became your deep blue sea
The clouds became your shore
And there, for all eternity
You sat with friends galore
Each angel was a fisherman
Who had traded his pole
For golden wings and a game plan
At Heaven’s Fishing Hole.

The tales you told about each catch
Its stature and its girth
Will live in memories unmatched
As days pass here on earth
Until we meet again, one day
Upon God’s golden sand
We’ll picture you, no other way
Than with a pole in hand.

Stewart's family will be remembering him for his Heaven day with the above tributes in their local newspaper.

Share my pillow - share my dreams

The void you left is dark and wide
Your presence is no more,
So come to me in dreams sweetheart
I'll leave an open door.

Speak to me my sweetheart
In whatever way you can,
Break this silent nightmare
Bridge this unlit span.

Smile for me my sweetheart
That smile so broad and wide,
Ease the pain within my heart
And make the tears subside.

Hold me close my sweetheart
Let me stroke your hair,
Let me kiss you better
Let me know you're there.

Laugh for me my sweetheart
Lighten this dismal strife,
Remind me how your crazy ways
Brought sunshine into life.

So rest your head my sweetheart
Come share this pillow of mine,
Whisper those words I need to hear
To let me know you're fine.

Stewart did everything at a million miles an hour. He always did everything at a fast speed!
He loved the outdoors, especially fishing. He also loved playing poker.

These are five special gifts for Angel Stewart from my friend Marie.
You can visit her website for her son Rob here ~
Rob Northrop's Site.

Sheri,
Wishing your angel Stewart a happy heavenly birthday.
I know how hard today will be for you as you are so new to this grief road.
But wanted you to know I am here and my love and prayers are with you today.
Just know if you need anything I am here.
Our angels will have a big party for your angel today.
Take care and know I am here. I have a candle burning in memory of your angel
Love and prayers, Carol, mom to Angel Michael.

I'll never forget this time Stewart; your baby sister Gailynn Reed wanted to see the sheep out on our farm, and I told her it's too cold for you to go outside.
So like any great big brother, you went out the backdoor and snuck in the front door with the sheep, and there you were sitting in the living room sitting on my couch
with your baby sister and the sheep. I'm so glad that you did this and made memories for us. I'm so glad I took this photo. I only wish there were 1000's more,
but your life was cut short. You were so ripped off, and so were we :( I love you and think about you everyday 10 times a day. xoxoxo

I made this little quote it truely is how I feel...

"What we once enjoyed and deeply loved we can never lose,
for all that we love deeply becomes part of us"
-Helen Keller

We farm, and Stewart would always drive around on the tractor taking his sisters for a ride...

This wonderful tag is a gift to Angel Stewart from my dear friend Lynn, mom to Angel Ken!

And this is another beautiful and loving gift for Angel Stewart from my dear friend, Carol, mom to Angel Michael.

We Do Not Need A Special Day

We do not need a special day
To bring you to our minds
The days we do not think of you
Are very hard to find

Each morning when we awake
We know that you are gone
And no one knows the heartache
As we try to carry on

Our hearts still ache with sadness
And secret tears still flow
What it meant to lose you
No one will ever know

Our thoughts are always with you
Your place no one can fill
In life we loved you dearly
In death we love you still

There will always be a heartache
And often a silent tear
But always a precious memory
Of the days when you were here

If tears could build a staircase
And heartaches make a lane
We'd walk the path to Heaven
And bring you home again

We hold you close, within our hearts
And there you will remain
To walk with us throughout our lives
Until we meet again

Our family chain is broken now
An nothing seems the same
But as God calls us one by one
The chain will link again.

Stewart went to British Columbia in the spring for a few months, and he talked over and over again how much he loved watching the eagles
that were out in British Columbia, and how amazing they were.

This is Stewart while he was working out in British Columbia.

If you notice in almost every photo of Stewart he always made this Hang Ten/Hang Loose sign...

Above are some pictures of Stewart with his girlfriend Amanda.

These are the very last photos I have of my son..........
they were all mostly taken within the hour of his death, the very last 2 photos are taken 1-2 minutes before the accident.

This one of Stewart with Amanda taking her outside...

This is of all the kids with the blurred dove in the corner, just moments before the accident.

This is a photo of Stewart's friends, our kids, they all came for a visit when we brought Stewart back home.

Look at these photos and tell me if Im going nuts??? Gailynn, our youngest, got up this morning (March 6th) and said "Stewart's here!!!" I told her to come back to bed, and she took my camera and started taking photos... out of 6 photos I got nothing but the window she was looking out of, and now look at the last 2 photos. This is what was there. You tell me?

I got a wonderful surprise (for Stewart's birthday)! The kids that were there that horrible night all got a tattoo of poker cards and chips with Stewart's name and dates. (Wow what a beautiful tribute to my son) He would never believe me if I told him myself. These kids are such wonderful friends.

Dearest Sheri
I couldn't resist these photos
Your son Stewart was such a cutie.
Even as he grew he was a handsome young man.
In Heaven he continues to be A Handsome ANGEL.
You know I am here for you.
Happy 28th Birthday ANGEL STEWART

This beautiful gift is from Tina's Memorial Site

And this is a loving gift from Jason Christopher Dunn

The song playing on here is Godspeed by The Dixie Chicks. When he heard it, Stewart said that this song is sad but beautiful.
It hit a nerve with him, and even made him cry. He truly loved this song!

This is our first grandbaby, Stewart Hunter Reed, born September 8, 2011.
