"Please add this to the page for me.
I also lost my mom to cancer in 1996. Patricia was so very young. My heart breaks for her daughter."
My mother was brought into this world on May 17, 1949, she was diagnosed with cancer on October 11, 2006,
and she was taken to Heaven on November 11, 2006. She meant the world to me, we were very close.

With Love for Angel Patricia
Don’t think of her as gone away,
her journey’s just begun,
life holds so many facets
this earth is only one.
Just think of her as resting
from the sorrow and the tears
in a place of warmth and comfort,
where there are no days and years.
Think how she must be wishing
that we could know today
how nothing but our sadness
can really pass away.
And think of her as living
in the hearts of those she touched,
for nothing loved is ever lost,
and she was loved so much.

My mom was a very loving woman. No one can say anything bad about her. She was always happy with everyone. She was a proud mother of three. She had one girl and two boys. She was a grandmother of eight, and a Great Grandmaw of one. She loved them all very much. Her wish before she passed was to be home with me (Tammy) and my kids and grandson, we did make that wish come true. She went into the hospital October 11, and came home with us October 24. She was here with us until November 11, 2006; which is the morning she opened her arms to heaven. She was very happy here. Everyone would come to visit day and night, she was always happy.
She was a child of 12. Her siblings included Sisters: Joanie, Linda, Mel, Sandy, Judy; and brothers:
Buster, Ricky, Bubby, Brother, Teddy, and Jay She loved going to Slidell by her Dad's house.
Mom's hobby was planting. She really had a green thumb. She had lots of plants.
She had two birds(cockatiels),
which she loved very much; we call them Tweety and Peety. I have inherited them from her.
She loved her plants...
She worked at Ryans Steakhouse before she took ill, that took a big toll on her, but she loved her job.
And for some reason, She hated to receive anything from anyone.
This picture is one of her with Her sister Linda, Her Mom, Her sister Joanie, and her sister Sandy.
This picture of my mother is the most special of all, It is the one that shows how everyone knew her.
All her nieces-nephews-young friends called her Nanny Pat.
This is mom's great grandson, Chad. She was the #1 Saints Fan!
And this is her granddaughter, Tiffany.
My Mom would have been so proud to see Tiffany graduate.
All of your family and friends miss you so much!!!!

For Those I Love Who Love Me
When I am gone, release me.
Let me go,
I have so many things to see and do.
You must not tie yourself to me with tears.
Be happy that we had so many years.
I gave my love, you can only guess
How much you gave to my in happiness.
I Thank you for the love we each have shown
But now it's time i travel on, alone.
So grieve awhile for me, if grieve you must,
then let your grief be comforted by trust.
It's only for a while we must part
So bless now, the memories within your heart.
I wont be far away, for life goes on,
So if you need me, or touch me,
I'll be near
And if you listen with your heart, you'll hear,
All my love around you soft and clear.
And when you must come this way alone,
I'll greet you with a smile and say
MOM TAMMY, AND BOGGIE.
Next are some pictures of my mom when she was younger. Wasn't she a beauty?
And here is Mom on her wedding day.
Those we love remain with us
for love itself lives on.
Cherished memories never fade,
because one loved is gone.
Those we love can never be,
more than a thought apart,
for as long as there is a memory,
they live on in our heart.
