When Tomorrow Starts Without Me
by David M. Romano

When tomorrow starts without me,
and I'm not there to see;
If the sun should rise and find your eyes,
all filled with tears for me;
I wish so much you wouldn't cry,
the way you did today,
while thinking of the many things,
we didn't get to say.
I know how much you love me,
as much as I love you,
and each time that you think of me,
I know you'll miss me too;
But when tomorrow starts without me,
please try to understand,
that an Angel came and called my name,
and took me by the hand,
and said my place was ready,
in heaven far above,
and that I'd have to leave behind,
all those I dearly love.

But as I turned to walk away,
a tear fell from my eye,
for all life, I'd always thought,
I didn't want to die.
I had so much to live for,
so much yet to do,
it seemed almost impossible,
that I was leaving you.

I thought of all the yesterdays,
the good ones and the bad,
I thought of all the love we shared,
and all the fun we had.

If I could relive yesterday,
just even for awhile,
I'd say goodbye and kiss you
and maybe see you smile.
But then I fully realized,
that this could never be,
for emptiness and memories,
would take the place of me.
And when I thought of worldly things,
I might miss come tomorrow,
I thought of you, and when I did,
my heart was filled with sorrow.

But when I walked through heaven's gates,
I felt so much at home.
When God looked down and smiled at me,
from His great golden throne,

He said, "This is eternity,
and all I've promised you".
Today for life on earth is past,
but here it starts anew.
I promise no tomorrow,
but today will always last,
and since each day's the same day,
there's no longing for the past.

But you have been so faithful,
so trusting and so true.
Though there were times you did some things,
you knew you shouldn't do.
But you have been forgiven
and now at last you're free.
So won't you take my hand
and share my life with me?

So when tomorrow starts without me,
don't think we're far apart,
for every time you think of me,
I'm right here, in your heart.

This one is of the boys' father and Kathleen.

These three special gifts for Angel Kathleen are from my friend Marie.
You can visit her website for her son Rob here ~ Rob Northrop's Site.

These are two beautiful and loving gifts for Angel Kathleen from my dear friend, Carol, mom to Angel Michael.

My daughter Kathleen LOVED Ebay and her BEANIE BEARS,
and hoped to get married someday in Cinderella's Castle and Coach.

Near shady wall a rose once grew,
Budded and blossomed in God's free light,
Watered and fed by morning dew,
Shedding its sweetness day and night.

As it grew and blossomed fair and tall,
Slowly rising to loftier height,
It came to a crevice in the wall,
Through which there shone a beam of light.

Onward it crept with added strength
With never a thought of fear or pride,
It followed the light through the crevice's length
And unfolded itself on the other side.

The light, the dew, the broadening view
Were found the same as they were before,
And it lost itelf in beauties new,
Breathing its fragrance more and more.

Shall claim of death cause us to grieve
And make our courage faint and fall?
Nay! Let us faith and hope receive...
The rose still grows beyond the wall,

Scattering fragrance far and wide
Just as it did in days of yore,
Just as it did on the other side,
Just as it will forever...

Our Christmas Angels

When you remember me, it means that
you have carried something of who I am with you,
that I have left some mark on who I am on who you are.
It means that you can summon me back to your mind
even though countless years and miles may stand between us.
It means that if we meet again, you will know me,
and hear my voice and speak to me in your heart.
For as long as you remember me, I am never entirely lost.
~Frederick Buechner

Those we love remain with us
for love itself lives on.
Cherished memories never fade,
because one loved is gone.
Those we love can never be,
more than a thought apart,
for as long as there is a memory,
they live on in our heart.

Heaven's Rose

Your memory is like a rose,
A precious velvet bloom.
now in heaven's sweet bouquet;
you left us far too soon.

Like the precious rose's scent,
your memory lingers on.
The imprint left upon our hearts
Remains although you're gone.

God holds you now as Heaven's tears
Kiss you like the dew.
In Heaven now, our precious rose,
Forever there to bloom.

I wrote your name on the sand,
but the waves washed it away.
I wrote your name on the sky,
but the wind blew it away.
I wrote your name in my heart,
and forever it'll stay.

We Do Not Need A Special Day

We do not need a special day
To bring you to our minds
The days we do not think of you
Are very hard to find

Each morning when we awake
We know that you are gone
And no one knows the heartache
As we try to carry on

Our hearts still ache with sadness
And secret tears still flow
What it meant to lose you
No one will ever know

Our thoughts are always with you
Your place no one can fill
In life we loved you dearly
In death we love you still

There will always be a heartache
And often a silent tear
But always a precious memory
Of the days when you were here

If tears could build a staircase
And heartaches make a lane
We'd walk the path to Heaven
And bring you home again

We hold you close, within our hearts
And there you will remain
To walk with us throughout our lives
Until we meet again

Our family chain is broken now
And nothing seems the same
But as God calls us one by one
The chain will link again.

Sharon, To Your Angel Kathleen
My Best Wishes On Her 42nd Birthday
6-11-73 ~ 4-2-02

To Sharon and ANGEL Kathleen

Softness of the skin
Sweetness in the smell
Nectar of the fruit
Tender in the heart
Dancing in the eyes
Uplifting in the smile
Tickle of the touch
Joining in the love

Truth in the speech
Love in the laughter
Primal in the scream
Soft in the whisper
Quick in the mind
Fair in the sentence
Brave in the confrontation
Joining in the love

Graceful in the sleep
Careful in the search
Deep in the sorrow
Strength in the sickness
Giving of thy self
Rich in the health
Kind in the giving
Joining in the love

Sue-Anne's ANGEL

Dearest Sharon

Mom I am your ANGEL
That now lives up above
Mom I haven't left you
Every day I send you my love

I know you can't see me
And that really hurts you
But I am with you every day
So please don't feel down and blue

One day we will all be together
But you must not keep asking
Just like me I had done my time
Only GOD knows And in HIM you must believe

For Kathleen
Your angel has touched the deepest part of my heart.
What a very beautiful daughter you have. One to be very proud of.
She was so much like my own angel Laura
May God be with you, and Kathleen sweetheart, rest well with the Lord
Ann Laurasmom

For Your Angel Kathleen

I'm so sorry for the loss of your beautiful daughter. This has touched me so much because it brings to mind the almost exact relationship I had with my own daughter Laura. She, too, loved her children beyond anything else on this earth and was born to be a mother, and just like your Kathleen, she always left herself for last. So this reminded me so much and brought back so many memories. My Angel Laura left me on October 19, 2002. May the Lord be with you.
Ann, Laurasmom
