On the left, dreaming of the big day. And on the right, finally the big day...

One of Justin's classmates made this for me.

Remember Me

Remember me when flowers bloom
Early in the spring
Remember me on sunny days
In the fun that summer brings

Remember me in the fall
As you walk through the leaves of gold
And in the wintertime - remember me
In the stories that are told

But most of all remember
Each day - right from the start
I will be forever near
For I live within your heart

Message from Teresa Justice, Justinís first grade teacher. A memory she had of Justin.
Justin asked me once how come people die. I thought long and hard before I answered because of him only being in the first grade, the others were listening and waiting for an answer with him. Finally, I said well we donít know why people dies that is just the way that things happen, he told me I was wrong, people die when God needs a special angel. I can hear him say that as if it was just yesterday. How wise he was at that age.

On the left, our future wrestler. And on the right, "Mr. Cool."

God Looked around his garden and he found an empty space.
He then looked down upon the earth and saw your precious face.
He put his arms around you and lifted you to rest.
God's garden must be beautiful.
He always takes the best.
It broke my heart to lose you,
but you didn't go alone,
for part of me went with you
the day God called you home.
If Tears could build a staircase
and memories build a lane
I'd walk all the way to heaven
and bring you home again.

"Mr. Baseball."

Justin and Nena, Christmas 1986.

Only the Best

A heart of gold stopped beating
Two shining eyes at rest
God broke our hearts to prove
He only takes the best.

God knows you had to leave us
But you did not go alone
For part of us went with you
The day he took you home.

To some you are forgotten
To others just a part of the past
But to us who loved and lost you
The memory will always last.

I Believe
Performed by Diamond Rio

Every now and then soft as breath upon my skin
I feel you come back again
And it's like you haven't been gone a moment from my side
Like the tears were never cried
Like the hands of time are holding you and me
And with all my heart I'm sure we're closer than we ever were
I don't have to hear or see, I've got all the proof I need
There are more than angels watching over me
I believe, I believe

That when you die your life goes on
It doesn't end here when you're gone
Every soul is filled with light
It never ends and if I'm right
Our love can even reach across eternity
I believe, I believe

Forever, you're a part of me
Forever, in the heart of me
And I'll hold you even longer if I can
The people who don't see the most
Say that I believe in ghosts
And if that makes me crazy, then I am
'Cause I believe

There are more than angels watching over me
I believe, I believe
