In Loving Memory of
Jennifer Ann Parks
June 27, 1989 - July 30, 2005
She flew from earth on angel's wings,
But left her songs on heart strings,
In memories both far and near,
That many souls will stop to hear.
She went away but left her worth,
Of footsteps tread upon the earth,
So that those who cross her path,
Hear echoes of a young girl's laugh.
She skipped along a river's edge,
And hid behind a garden's hedge,
I saw her mark upon a tree,
And underneath a bandaged knee.
She played in grasses of the field,
Where happiness would be the yield,
She left behind a tea cup's fill,
Of daisies on the window sill.
She went to bed with peace of mind,
With good-night kisses pure and kind,
Before the hour of morning dew,
She left behind a prayer or two.
She left the strength of mighty oak,
Some childhood thoughts she never spoke,
A million kisses to be kissed,
A sunshine's ray that will be missed.
For what was lost so much was gained,
More joy she brought than grief or pain,
She left within each trembling heart,
A love that will never depart.
The greatest gift she gave the world,
Was when her hands unfurled,
Her fingertips on life were such,
They left their mark on all she touched.

Jennifer's Mom wrote: I can remember the day you read the first Harry Potter book. You were so into it you could not put it down.
You insisted I read it too. Well I read it and didn't think much of it until we went to see the movie. Well that got me hooked too.
Every time the next book was to come out you made sure you were at the book store really early to get your copy before they sold out.
You would lock yourself in your room and not come out till you were done. That was one of your favorite things to do.
You took after daddy in that aspect. I was very proud of you for that.
Then you saw the play Phantom if the Opera, and that is all it took. You couldn't get enough.
You collected all kinds of things regarding
Phantom of the Opera.
Besides the Harry Potter books, Jennifer loved books, loved to read, and enjoyed fantasy books,
and read all
the Nancy Drew books when she was younger.
Jennifer was a very loving young girl, and had several friends she was close
to - Angelica, Amy, Angela and Lindsey.
Two of them moved away to other
states, but later on she met with Angela and Lindsey, and they
became very good friends.
She also had a cat which Laurie, her Mom, still has.
These two photos above are of Jennifer and her baby cousin, Anjalyna.
Jennifer loved daisies, and she enjoyed the big roller coasters at the

My dearest Jennifer
It has been 11 years since you have been gone. There has not been a day that goes by that I don't think about you.
You were my only child, and you left us way too soon. I try to keep your memory with me always. You are with daddy.
We all miss you very very much.

What Do I Do?
Written by Nicki Allee, June 18, 2014
How do I get rid of
This continual pain?
The grief that sears through me,
The constant rain?
I should feel happiness
Joy and awe.
But I don't feel anything
Like that at all.
My smile doesn't reach
To the rest of my face
The hopes for tomorrow
Have now been erased.
What do I do?
How do I live
With all of this love
That I cannot give?
You are the winds that blow,
You are the diamonds in the snow,
You are the sun that melts my pain,
You are the gently autumns rain.
You are the graceful bird in flight,
You are the stars that shine at night,
You were the heartbeat of my life,
I wish you weren't gone.but here instead.
We have you as an angel now.
Blessed by the peace you bring.
And.although I cannot see you.
I can feel the brush of your wings.
You bring me light in darkness
And calmness in times of fear.
And hope lives in the knowing
That you are always near.
Jennifer's loving Mom and Dad.

Memories Of You
I remember everything about you,
your voice, you smile, your touch,
the way you walked, the way you talked,
the way you looked at me, meant so much.
I remember all the words you said to me,
some funny, some kind, some wise,
all of the things you did for me,
I see now with different eyes.
I remember every moment we shared,
seems like only yesterday,
or maybe it was eons ago,
It's really hard to say.
You are gone from me now,
but one they can't take away,
your memory resides inside my heart,
and lights up my darkest days...
A friend can hear a tear drop.
