Hunter's Christmas Pictures

This is one of my favorite pictures of our Angel Hunter at Christmas!

"Can you all hear me now?"

Hunter and his new Christmas train.

"Just tell Santa one thing you want!" (Scared of Santa)

New boots!

"Let's see what's in here, Sissy!"

"How do you like my hat?"

"Do you like my new ride?"

"It goes fast!"

My new (and first!) horse from Aunt Faye.

"I can do this!"

Hunter helping Mama.

New rubber boots ~ "What do I play with first?"

"Love my Tonka toys!"

I got a new bike, but I love my Chaps more, because I am a "Cowboy"

Thanking Daddy for the Chaps.

"Keep your eyes closed!" Hunter being surprised.

"My Chaps! My Chaps! Yeah!!!"

Hunter and his first snowman that he built. He was so proud, he wanted it to be a "cowboy" snowman, so he gave it his play guns, horse,
and borrowed food coloring from me to make him look like he was shot and that was the blood!

This is Hunter and Bubba - Santa brought him his 4-wheeler.

Daddy and Hunter playing in the snow.

Hunter loved his 4-wheeler, and he and Dad loved to be in the snow together.

Our first snow - Hunter sliding on a garbage can lid!

Hunter snooping for a special gift.

Showing off his buckle and shirt. Hunter loved his Rodeo belt buckle and football shirt.

"All these mine?" Hunter didn't know which one to open!

Opening gifts at Grandma Kirkland's house.

Hunter's Bubba got his this guitar. He was so looking forward to learning how to play. John (Bubba) said he really misses Hunter,
and knowing he won't be able to teach him how to play now. sigh.

Our first Christmas without Hunter, December 2005. I fix up a table for him and light candles.

In Memory of Cowboy Hunter

The Cowboy's Christmas

The cowboy spent many a Christmas out on the range
Under God's clear sky, where ever he may be
Stars so bright it seemed you could touch them
Only they were too far out of range

On Christmas night the cowboy would unmount from his horse
Look unto the heavens, takes off his hat, and talks to God
The cowboy remembers it was just a night as this
A child was born a gift to the world, a gift of love from God

The cowboy talked to God, as one to a friend that night
He thanked God for the gift of his son,and for his birth
God in heaven had given this cowboy much
And this night the cowboy gave to Jesus, King of the earth

This Christmas night, the cowboy is celebrating in heaven
Oh how glorious it must be for him
To be with Jesus in celebration of his birth
Merry Christmas from the cowboy in heaven
