In Loving Memory of
Gene Adam Sauer
September 22, 1987 - September 2, 2006

I remember everything about you
your voice, your smile, your touch,
the way you walked, the way you talked,
the way you looked at me meant so much.

I remember all the words you said to me,
some funny, some kind, some wise,
all the things you did for me
I see now with different eyes.

I remember every moment we shared,
seems like only yesterday,
or maybe it was eons ago,
it is really hard to say.

You are gone from me now but,
one thing they can't take away,
Your memory resides inside my heart
and lights up my darkest days!

Gene Adam Sauer was born in Oklahoma to Joseph and Kathy Farris on September 22,1987. Gene was the only child of his parents.
Sadly, he was murdered at the age of 18 on September 02, 2006.

These three special gifts for Angel Gene are from my friend Marie.
You can visit her website for her son Rob here ~ Rob Northrop's Site.

Gene was a really great kid and loved life. He would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it, feed you if you were hungry, even if it took all his money.
He was a very giving person and enjoyed helping people.

Gene loved to go fishing, camping or just being outdoors. He also loved sports, especially football cause he got to be rough.

Gene was "mr.fix it" at our house; if it was broke he could fix it. He had an amazing talent with his hands.

Christmas was our favorite time - Gene and I would decorate the house and yard every year. We would argue over the decorations, and then he would let me think I was gonna get my way
and then we would be done. He would wait for me to leave then do them the way he wanted them, especially the ones up high cause he knew I was scared of heights. He always got his way with the decorations.
Mom and Gene always made all the goodies at Christmas and enjoyed their time together. He got to be real good at baking.

Gene would always think of some silly joke to play on Pops. He got me good sometimes. I got even with him though. He couldn't always outsmart
the old man. Our memories are all we have left now, and we cherish them. We love and miss you, Son
Mom and Pops

The Broken Chain

We did not know that morning that God was going to call your name.
In life we loved you dearly, in death the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you,
you did not go alone,
for part of us went with you the day God called you home
You left us peaceful memories,
your love is still our guide,
and though we cannot see you, you are always by our side.
Our family chain is broken,
and nothing seems the same,
but as GOD calls us one by one, the CHAIN will link again.
