On Chris's 3rd Heaven anniversary, he said "Mom, dry your tears and look at the rainbow!"

These twelve beautiful gifts for Angel Chris are from Debbie.

When we had our son Chris (32 years ago now), he's forever 28... but they didn't do any tests to tell you the sex of your baby unless you were having problems.
It was good he was a boy, as we didn't even have a girl's name picked out.
He was Chris from the time we knew we were going to have a baby!
During his Junior and Senior years in high school, I don't know why, but EVERYONE at school called him Parker .... he liked that.

Chris was big in football, and he played both sides usually the whole game. He also loved baseball. Fishing was also a true love and hunting deer.
He would stay in the woods from 5am till dark. Very outdoors guy.
People always talked about his smile, and I never really heard him say a bad word about anyone, he truly has a heart of gold.

Chris was 28, but lived at home his whole life except the last 3 months when he moved on our street, less than a mile from our home.
He passed instantly on our anniversary in a two car accident.

Chris wrote this on his facebook April 1 and passed April 18th

People were created to exist forever. We will either exist eternally separated from God by sin, or eternally with God through forgiveness and salvation.
To be eternally separated from God is Hell. To be eternally in union with Him is eternal life. Heaven and Hell are real places of eternal existence.

As I sit on the edge of my bed before I go to sleep, I would like to thank my Lord and savior Jesus Christ for giving his life to save me for my sins. I owe a huge thanks to my pastor Terry Scott for great words of encouragement.
I have accepted the Father and Son into my life and want to live eternal life on Heaven. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
I'm loving my life right now but most important I have a great love for God!!!! Can I get an Amen?

This very special gift is from our dear friend, Alan.

We Do Not Need A Special Day

We do not need a special day
To bring you to our minds
The days we do not think of you
Are very hard to find

Each morning when we awake
We know that you are gone
And no one knows the heartache
As we try to carry on

Our hearts still ache with sadness
And secret tears still flow
What it meant to lose you
No one will ever know
Our thoughts are always with you
Your place no one can fill
In life we loved you dearly
In death we love you still

There will always be a heartache
And often a silent tear
But always a precious memory
Of the days when you were here

If tears could build a staircase
And heartaches make a lane
We'd walk the path to Heaven
And bring you home again

We hold you close, within our hearts
And there you will remain
To walk with us throughout our lives
Until we meet again

Our family chain is broken now
And nothing seems the same
But as God calls us one by one
The chain will link again.

A Picture Of You

I only have a picture now,
A frozen piece of time,
To remind me of how it was,
When you were here, and mine.

I see your smiling eyes,
Each morning when I wake,
I talk to you, and place a kiss,
Upon your lovely face.

How much I miss you being here,
I really can not say,
The ache is deep inside my heart,
And never goes away.

I hear it mentioned often,
That time will heal the pain,
But if I'm being honest,
I hope it will remain.

I need to feel you constantly,
To get me through the day,
I loved you so very much,
Why did you go away?

The angels came and took you,
That really wasn't fair,
They took my one and only Son,
My future life. My heir.

If only they had asked me,
If I would take your place,
I would have done so willingly,
Leaving you this world to grace.

You should have had so many years,
To watch your life unfold,
And in the mist of this,
Watch me, your Mum grow old!

I hope your watching from above,
At the daily tasks I do,
And let there be no doubt at all,
I really do love you.

The Broken Chain

We little knew that morning
that God was going to call your name.
In life we loved you dearly,
In death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you,
you did not go alone;
for part of us went with you,
the day God called you home.
You left us peaceful memories,
your love is still our guide;
and though we cannot see you,
you are always at our side.
Our family chain is broken
and nothing seems the same,
but as God calls us one by one,
the Chain will link again...

And I will light a candle for you
to shadow all the darkness and bless the times we knew
Like a beacon in the night the flame will burn bright
and guide us on our way
Oh today I light a candle for you.

Seasons come and go and I'm weary from the change
Keep on moving on -- you know it's not the same
And when I'm walking all alone
Do you hear me call your name?
Do you hear me sing the songs we used to sing?

And I will light a candle for you...

You filled my life with wonder -- touched me with surprise
Always saw that something special deep within your eyes
And through the good times and the bad
We carried on with pride
I hold on to the love and life we knew

And I will light a candle for you...
Oh today I light a candle for you.

These are three loving gifts for our Angel Chris from my friend Denise

The mention of my child's name
may bring tears to my eyes,
But it never fails to bring music to my ears.
If you are really my friend,
let me hear the music of his name!
It soothes my broken heart and sings to my soul!

Chris wrote his monument on March 30th 2013 and passed on April 18 2013. This very well could speak to someone's heart that's on the fence about God and religion,
and if it touches one person that's what Chris would want. The angels rejoice for every saved soul.

Thank you so much to my dear friend, Linda, Mom to Angel Tina,
for all your help with getting the song, Amazing Grace (My Chains Are Gone), for this page!
